Urban Evangelism

If you have heard Geoffrey’s personal testimony, you are aware that he followed God’s Call to tell the world about Jesus’ Love and took the Good News to the populous city of Nairobi, Kenya in 1991. His efforts to preach to those in the park shortly became a full-fledged ministry that became known as the “Lunchtime Church”. Despite the various challenges over the years, including persecution from other churches, God continued to bring souls to feed on His Words daily at lunchtime in the streets of Nairobi. With recent changes in regulations limiting gathering in public due to global the global pandemic, this ministry continues via a public address system that reaches up to one mile.

Rural Evangelism

This branch of the ministry is in high demand for the ministry’s time. People from within Africa, as well as from numerous regions around the world, reach out to PTLM requesting their Team to hold evangelistic meetings on behalf of friends and/or loved ones who are interested in hearing about Jesus. Once a group of Believers is established, the new members/seekers start by setting up Sabbath Schools. They generally do not have a church building to meet in, so sometimes they rent from other churches. As the group grows, they will ultimately create the blessed need to build a church building to fellowship and celebrate the Sabbath in.

Literature Evangelism

Tell me more about what you do here…door-to-door? Businesses? Work with local churches? Do you have a team of people who work this regularly for you? Do you pass out Bibles? Pamphlets? Books? Are there online options for purchasing literature? Where do you get these resources from? Just to be clear, is this a ministry right now or are you wanting to develop this as a branch ministry? Anything else you want to share in this section?

Medical Missionary

This area has become a major focus of ministry for PTLM. Nutritional and lifestyle education is fundamental to building a base for subsequent healthy lifestyle choices…because what we allow into our bodies through the five senses, directly affects what comes out of it! To encourage a healthier and happier quality of life in our communities, PTLM actively promotes implementation of healthy nutrition, natural remedies and the 8 Laws of Health. Currently, as time, resources and regulations allow, PTLM offers one-on-one counseling to those in need. Many have shared testimonials regarding their improved health in the areas of diabetes, cancer, blood pressure issues, arthritis, etc. Based on growing response, we are excited to see God diligently moving on the hearts of the Kenyan people as they continue to strive for vigorous health and vitality for their quality of life!

Conference Call Bible Studies

PTLM is thrilled with the ongoing opportunity to host a Bible Study (in Kikuyu dialect) via conference call every Sunday morning at 10:00am (USA/Pacific Time)/9:00pm (Kenya), Wednesdays at 7:00pm (USA/Pacific Time)/Thursday at 6:00am (Kenya), and Fridays at 7:00pm (USA/Pacific Time)/Saturday at 6:00am (Kenya). This enables anyone and everyone from around the world to join us, so everyone is officially invited! We take about 50 minutes to share a couple of songs, a humble prayer and then embark on our Bible study adventure. International Bible Study Forum

Nearly two decades ago, the Holy Spirit opened Geoffrey’s eyes to the need of a Bible study forum for seekers from all different cultures. With just a few attendees, he began hosting a fledgling Bible Study group every week at All Nations SDA Church in Federal Way, Washington, USA. This group of Believers offer health seminars once a month for anyone who would like to learn more about living a vibrant, healthy life. As this group faithfully continues to meet every Sabbath, they have grown substantially…in numbers and in Spirit! When Geoffrey visits America, he is a coveted guest speaker for the All-Nations group! Please pray for God’s ongoing blessing for those actively studying His Word and nurturing their objective of a real and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ!

Bible Workers

The gift of time and knowledge invested by our Bible Workers - before and after evangelistic meetings - is priceless! Ideally, PTLM will send a minimum of two Bible Workers ahead of an evangelistic meeting to be the hands and feet of the Holy Spirit. By the grace of God, hearts are thus prepared to receive the messages God has inspired to be shared within a particular village or community. Utilizing the ministry of Bible Workers continues to be an extremely relevant and vital resource in evangelism for the people of Kenya. NEED: It costs approximately $200/month to support one Bible Worker. Sponsors and/or donations are faithfully needed to support this invaluable ministry.

Lunch Time Church

God called on Geoffrey to begin this ministry when he was just a babe in Christ, so it holds a special place in his heart. Today, a member of PTLM’s team faithfully ministers in Nairobi as “boots on the ground” to share the Love of Jesus - every day at Lunchtime! You are invited to join us in the park (should I put which park?) as we minister to the passersby, drawing from 5-100 (?) visitors every day of the week. Geoffrey cherishes the opportunity to join the Lunchtime Church when he is in Nairobi. The locals fondly remember and will call out to him, entreating him to personally share more about “his Jesus” when he is in the area! NEED: Due to frequent, adverse weather conditions, there is a great need to find an affordable, weather-proof location to hold the Lunchtime Church. The cost of living in Nairobi is relatively high, so we need your prayers asking the Lord if He would be willing to find an appropriate dwelling for those attending Lunchtime Church.
